| 2010 proved to be a very interesting and chaotic year! We embraced the challenges that came our way and made a GIANT move to Singapore in late 2010. It was difficult to leave England after living there for three years and making such great friends, however, we always knew that the move date would come eventually! The move came at the end of the school year (July) and, with a brief stop in the US to visit the grandparents and do some major shopping for summer clothes, went very smoothly!
Megan and Nicole have settled into their new school, which was quite an experience for both of them! Having been in the British school system for the last three years was a great experience for them! We watched both of them become more confident and discover what they were good at! Megan thrived in the soccer, tennis and swimming programs there; while Nicole chose choir, orchestra and violin! The biggest challenge for them both was moving back into an American curriculum based school. Both have adjusted well and started back up in their respective sports and music activities with Nicole adding gymnastics to her schedule!
Diana continues to manage the household, volunteer, plan holidays and tour about the island as her schedule permits! Diana decided not to get a car when we made this move and is becoming the family expert on the MRT system and how to get taxi's booked at a moments notice!
We are definitely enjoying the warmer weather and the opportunity to see another part of the world! We know it is a long trip, but if you are ever on this side of the world, we would love for family or friends to stop by!!!
